Community Conversations #2: Back to Basics

Description: In this 2nd part of our Community Conversations: Back to Basics — we examine the essentials of trauma-informed practice and re-ground in what matters most. Over the course of two hours, we will explore the common approaches to treatment planning and intervention with the clients we serve. It has become more challenging in recent times to treatment plan around wider trauma exposure and complex needs in all areas of functioning. We designed this conversation to orient helpers and healers to our roles in clients’ processes, as well as remind us of the extensive tools in our toolkits, even if they’re the oldest ones at the bottom of the bag.
